For the first round of the twelfth Winter Series, we will be returning to Portmoak for some epic ridge flying, as well as (hopefully) some wave. It’s definitely worth the drive! There will be lots of two seaters available, so do not worry if you are not yet solo or cannot bring your own glider.
The event runs from Friday morning to Sunday evening. There will be briefings each morning where you can sign up to fly that day.
Catering details tbc, but catering will be arranged.
It is a great opportunity to meet like-minded young pilots and experience flying from a site and in gliders that you would not normally have access to.

Registration
There is a registration fee of £10 which will go towards your flying fees. The reason for this is that we want to ensure that every place is given to someone who is going to turn up. You will only be able to attend this event if you have registered and paid the registration fee.
Please note: Everyone attending must register through this website, even if they don't plan to fly. This is so we know who is coming and to ensure that we have emergency contact details for everyone on-site.
Supervision & Safeguarding
UK Junior Gliding organises the Winter Series to promote gliding and encourage flying through the winter months at adventurous airfields. During flying and other organised activities, the UKJG team will maintain an appropriate level of supervision to ensure everyone's safety and welfare. The supervision of under-18's is the responsibility of the parents or a nominated responsible adult who is on-site during the event. Please contact the team if you have any questions relating to supervision or safeguarding.
